Egypt Center for Financial and Economic Studies: 6 promising sectors for Egyptian investment in Turkey

Ashraf Hajar, director of the Egypt and Middle East Center for Financial and Economic Studies, said

that Egypt and Turkey's announcement that they would target increasing trade exchange to $ 15 billion, and after the successful talks of the two leaders in Cairo, increased the aspirations and hopes of Egyptian investors to increase investment opportunities in Turkey.

Hajar explained that there are several opportunities for investment in Turkey, which is a European country and within the European Union countries, in 6 promising economic and service sectors in the real estate and industrial sectors, renewable energy and tourism, as well as the fields of technology and development.

He pointed out that Turkey in the real estate sector is witnessing great growth, especially in cities such as Istanbul and Antalya, where Egyptian investors can take advantage of investment opportunities in apartments, hotels, and commercial centers.

Turkey is one of the largest industrial markets in the region, offering wide opportunities in areas such as food industries, automotive, electronics, and textiles, along with the government's interest in encouraging investment in the renewable energy sector, and offering investment opportunities in areas such as solar and wind.

The Director of the Egypt and Middle East Center for Financial and Economic Studies pointed out that Turkey is one of the most important tourist destinations in the world, and offers opportunities for investment in hotels, restaurants, and other tourism services, as well as witnessing growth in the technology and innovation sector, as the Turkish government provides facilities and incentives for startups and new technologies.

Hajar stressed the history of Turkish-Egyptian relations extending to nearly a thousand years of trade and cultural exchange between the two countries, pointing out that the relations have recently witnessed a great movement and demand from Turkish investors to pump new investments in the Egyptian market, especially in light of the prosperity of bilateral relations between the two countries recently and the activity of mutual official visits between officials of the two countries.
